Welcome to our home in Tulum! We fell in love with Tulum and wanted a place that was an escape, a chance to truly relax and unwind, to be close to the vibe and beauty of the beach but still have all the modern comforts and amenities. Our home here gives us all that, plus it is a great jumping off point to explore the activities, culture, and beauty of the Yucatan. It is equally well suited as a romantic couple’s get away, or to bring friends and explore the outdoor activities here, or to enjoy a family vacation with the kids. We hope to share it with you and are sure that you will enjoy it.

Located in the brand new Aldea Zama gated community, this is the closest modern condo to beautiful Tulum Beach, famous for it’s Caribbean charm, talcum powder sand, gourmet restaurants, and jet set chic. There is no high-rise development here, so it is never over-crowded or touristy, just miles of beach with small gourmet restaurant and chic little bars nestled into the jungle at the water’s edge. The natural beauty of Tulum beach cannot be overstated, with sparkling blue water and the jungle running right down to the sea. Tulum Beach has visitors from around the world, so expect to meet interesting people.

The condo is brand new (just completed December 2015), upscale, tastefully decorated, and fully furnished with everything you will need for your stay. There is air conditioning in each room, all modern appliances, granite counter tops, microwave, and a large stainless steel refrigerator. With a fully stocked kitchen, you can make some of your meals yourself if you wish. Eat healthy; try some local fruits and vegetables from the local market, and save money instead of paying for restaurant meals every day.

This luxury condo has custom furniture, marble floors, and covered balconies on three sides of the living area. The large wrap around terrace is perfect for watching the sunrise from one side, enjoying the shade while the sun is high, and from the opposite balcony, enjoy an afternoon or sundown cocktail overlooking the pool below. The condo design is an open concept living area, with lots of sunlight. With screened sliding glass doors on 3 sides to cool the main living area, you can open them all to enjoy the breezes and hear the sounds of songbirds in the jungle (amazing in the morning).

The Master bedroom has a King bed with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony with a screened sliding glass door. There is an in-room programmable safe to store your valuables and passports. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, and an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms feature large closets, built-in drawers, and ceiling fans. There are also blackout curtains should you want to sleep in or take an afternoon nap.

High speed Internet is included. We have beach towels, high quality linens, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board for your use.

We are located off the little road that connects the town of Tulum with the beach area. The condo is within easy biking distance to the beach, as well as to all the attractions in town. There is a paved bike path connecting to the beach road and running along the beach road for several miles, passing lots of cool little shops, cafes, and restaurants on the beach. There are plenty of beach access spots up and down Tulum Beach.

There is a brand new American style grocery store nearby for all your needs. You can take a low cost cab ride to explore the local restaurants and attractions, or you can rent a scooter and explore the town, where the banks, ATM’s and shops are located. A car is not needed here, but is recommended if you wish to explore the extended area.

The neighborhood has 24-hour security, as does the condo complex itself. There is safe parking on site. The local fire department, police station, and emergency medical clinic are all just across the street from the development.

This literally is the closest modern condo development to the beach area, approximately 1½ mile to the public beaches. Bike there, ride a scooter, or take an ever-present local cab. While the beach hotels are quaint, they can be quite expensive and are often small with limited amenities. Why not stay in a comfortable private home where you have hot water, comfortable beds, 1200 sq. ft of space, and air conditioning, as well as a large pool to cool off in after a day at the beach?

Please note – This building is brand new and we are among the first to move in. The builder is still adding finishing touches in some of the other units, so some construction noise may be expected during workdays, depending upon the workers schedule.

There are so many things to do locally. Trip Advisor rates Tulum Beach among the best in the world. Bike to the Mayan Ruins (2-3 miles) or swim in the many local cenotes (brilliant crystal clear fresh water pools). How about morning yoga on the beach, play a Robert Trent Jones golf course 15 minutes away, or learn to kite surf. You can snorkel with sea turtles at nearby Akumal Bay.

Tulum itself is a treasure to explore, relax on the white sand beach, or snorkel in the turquoise water. There are the famous ruins of the Mayan city Chichen Itza located about 1 1/2 hours away, served by many tour operators. We highly recommend you plan a day in the Sian Ka’an biosphere. It is an expansive, beautiful, protected area that covers miles and miles of lagoon, beach, and mangrove. You will be blown away by the variety of birds, fish, dolphin, and other wildlife. Nearby there are dive shops, kite surfing shops, and places to rent kayaks or paddleboards.

Along the beach road you will find many cool restaurants, including Hartwood ( (Hidden by Airbnb) if you haven’t already heard how amazing it is), Posada Margherita (best Italian date spot ever), or Casa Banana for great Argentine meats. Visit JOSA (beach attire must haves) and Coqui Coqui (besides being absolutely beautiful, they sell handmade perfume).

In town you will also find a plethora of fun spots and unique experiences. Asadero is a great dinner option when you crave an open flame steak. For margaritas made from freshly ground cane sugar, head to Batey’s. Azafran offers a delicious German breakfast in a cute garden setting. Prices in town are much cheaper than on the beach and give you a feeling of the local cultural experience.
